The first step in creating a website is to reserve a domain name. This is done through a domain registrar. You can register your own domain name if you want, or we can take care of it for you. The cost of your domain name is very minimal, typically about $10.00 per year. This domain name needs to be renewed each year or else it will expire and someone else might purchase it.

Web Hosting Provider

The next step is to reserve space with a web hosting provider, or “web host”. Your web host is an internet-connected server computer where your web pages will be stored. Most web hosts have a control panel where you can log in and manage your hosting account, email accounts, and other settings. Web hosting will typically run about $75.00 per year. If you do not already have a web host, we will set up your new site with the provider we use at the service level you need.
