Misalignment of the Polls
I could not help but think something was wrong when I watched the politcal left pulling odd numbered polls out of their big bag of tricks as the heat seemed to be rising under the Clinton trial. The numbers that these polls were touting as the so-called temperature of the nation concerning Clinton looked a bit misaligned like a car that had hit too many pot holes and was pulling hard to the left. No matter how hard you tried to pull them back nothing seemed to help. Then I looked back at a few telling figures that were more trustworthy than the polls being taylored conveniently to make something that was starting to smell seem fragrant to the unsuspecting public. I felt it my reponsibility to write the following response to reveal the truth in these matters of public feeling:
Once again, the American people are being duped into thinking what is false is the truth by theatrical events of the Clinton regime. Confusion, distractions, and misleading information are rampant tools that could "deceive even the elect, if that were possible." It even has stalwart conservatives, such as Pat Robertson ready to "throw in the towel." Mr. Bumper's "to acquit, you go immediately to the people's agenda" could not be farther from the truth. Actual voting Americans (not just a selected sample) elected a majority of conservative Republicans (present encumbant count) to both the House and the Senate for the first time in 50 years. In defense, the Democrats tout a "twice elected President" as evidence of an in favor of Clinton majority; however, this does not reflect voting American opinion. An examination of the votes showed numbers in the low 40 percentile for Clinton, in the high 30 percentile for Bush, and around 16 percent for Perot. Since Perot was conservative (and his voters), we can reason that Perot took votes from Bush (not Clinton). Simple math shows that, without Perot (who was never really a contender) Bush would have won the election easily. This is the same conservative voting American population that the polls now claim have all miraculously become Clinton liberals. Shakespeare once wrote, "Something is rotten in Denmark." Sampling polls do not reflect the "people's agenda." However, this is what the Whitehorse staff would have us believe. Let us try to remember that the Whitehouse staff, advisers, lawyers, and as far as we know, "old Clinton friends," are all well-paid by the Clinton regime. It is reasonable to believe that everything they tell us just might be slanted in Clinton's favor. However, the House Managers are elected by "we the people" and are trying to bring real justice, popular or no, to the forefront.
